Karen Kutoloski - Personal Statement
After a fulfilling career as a Cardiologist, I retired in September of 2025 and was finally able to shift my focus back to my creative passions. Over the years, I have honed my traditional art skills and was able to return to college remotely at Cuyahoga Community College and graduate with an associate degree in Illustration. My degree allowed me to advance my skills in industry standard graphic design and digital platforms, such as Adobe Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator and Animate.

My art style is photorealism, and I enjoy combining colorful, whimsical imagery, with realistic traditional and digital illustrations to create enchanting designs and works of art. I am currently working with clients on logo commissions, original oil paintings, poster and t-shirt designs. I also create graphite, watercolor and colored pencil portrait on commission. Few things bring me such endless joy as my family, nature, and creating art that uplifts and enriches people’s souls.
